Another great web page by Mr. Stangeland....!! Many Thanks. I'm hoping someone can help with this AR Model "A" question; I Have just purchased an early Tudor body to restore and it has a very unusual choke rod holder under the gas tank. It's mounted lower on the tank and is more on a cast steel flat bracket than the usual early style. The rest of the cowl section is early (hood lace location, etc.) with no date stamping on the tank. I have been told that this is a good indiction that this is one of the first 2,000 cars built. Could this be true?
Anyway I'm not much of an AR person and would consider trading it for a later 28-29 cowl/tank.
