Dear Senor Casullo and Discussion Forum Readers,

Please believe me in my response to the question about right hand drive Model A’s I meant no disrespect to our Latin American Model A family. I realize I could have used a better term than “beat to death” .

I was referring more to their long life of service, road conditions, and availability of replacement parts. Not to the relationship of the owner to his Ford! It is truly a testament to the Model A that it has been in daily service for so many decades. In this country they have been “pampered pets” for most of the lives or have sat unused for decades.

Perhaps you are the real restorers, for I have seen photographs of your Cars on parade (page 29 of the current Restorer magazine)and they look “magnifico”!

Best wishes!
