I have cast bearings for Model A Ford Engine 1928-1930. I had the mold made with the help of a machine shop. The procedure followed was from Restorer mag. The babit suppliers also furnished some information. I have not made a mold for the rod's at this time. I have a machine to cut the bearings on the rod. It is a rod lathe. I will be glad to answer any questions that I can. The car I am driving has bearings that I cast and bored with a line bore machine that I have. It is a WW11 machine from army surplus. It is not a hard job to cast and machine your own bearings.
