One thing you might do is to visit your local newsstand a pick up a copy of "Old Cars Value Guide", published by Old Cars Magazine. It lists the results of auctions, private sales, etc. and rates each vehicle by condition (1=perfect to 6=parts car). Then of course you have to figure out what condition yours is in (objectively). At least it's a start.
Second, check the classified section of MAFCA's Restorer Magazine to see what others are asking for similar cars. MAFCA's web site has a list of local chapters, so you may find one in your area. That URL is: http://www.mafca.com
