I was a member of MAFCA in the early '60's, but I've been "out of it since." I've found a couple of complete, but totally unrestored A's...nothing rare. The owner neither reads the books or knows the current value... Is offering $500 for such a car outrageous? Is nothing except a bucket of bolts sold for less than a grand? In other words, in a real "ball park figure," what is a base price for a car that's all there, but has to be totally redone? I realize that there are price guides available, but the man at the corner drugstore hates it when I rip off the plastic bag. Thank you.
