Hi, I just aquired a 1928 Model A 2 dr. sedan and it's an early model. My question is that Someone had recently put an 8 volt bat. in the car and it's been hooked up neg. ground. I just got a new generator and I did a continuity test on the charging post of the gen to ground and I get continuity. Am I suppose to get cont. From the post of the gen to the case or ground? alos I did just switch back to a 6 volt sys. and its still neg. ground. The cut out switch is also new...Argh..I'm so fustrated..
