I'm trying to build a resto-rod replacement for the family minvan. What body style, sedan, sedan delivery, panel delivery, huckster, etc. would be best to start with? I've thought about extending a sedan. I have more woodworking skills than metal skills and I have a 1986 Ford Ranger chassis (115"wb) and 4WD drive train to work with. Will a woody body hold up, not rattle, etc., at highway speeds? Any help would be appreciated.
