Actually, the first Model A was droduced in 1903. popular models were: A,B, C, K, N, R, S, and T. The T was such a long run 1908 to May 1927, That we decided to start over with"A" again. Only the 4cyl. cars were model "B", the V8 was not a "B", there never was a "C". '33 & '34 cars were considered model B by Ford. Other folks just called them "C" in '33 & '34. The trucks had both 4 cyl. and V8 until 1941, when the 6 cyl came out. No V8 trucks were exported prior to 1941. Same for the pickup. Model A trucks were called AA. Four cyl. trucks '32 and later were called BB. There are still a few 4 cyl. 1 1/2 ton Ford trucks of '33, '34, vintage in the Gilroy, Hollister, Watsonville area. The socalled "C" engine had a counterweighted cranckshaft and it was drilled for oil pressure to the rods. After model "T", would model "U" sound good? Model U Ford Club of America!
