I don't see any reference to Taupe being a color for the Model A. Do you mean the Copra/Chicle combination?
Anyway, it is my understanding that all wheels were black from the factory. If a customer wanted, the dealer would paint the the wheels and the color was usally the same as the stripe(straw in your case). As for being orginal, that would depend on your definition. Are you looking for period orginal or High point judging orginal?
