My father has just reinstalled the freshened motor/trans and freshened rear axle in his 29 pickup and is experiencing interference between the brake cross shaft and the torque tube where the trailing arms attach to it. Very little brake pedal throw available w/o contact. Driving him mad. I have looked at it and do not see what has been reassembled incorrectly. Same front motor mount. I really don't see anything obvious. ( I am a wrench for a living so I'm not totally green) Thank you for any help.
