Several reasons why it wont move. Loose cabable connection, broken cable, broken drive gear at torque tube. To disconnect cable at torque tube, unscrew cable nut by hand, may need pliers to loose. At speedo end, disconnect battery first for safety. remove 4 screws holding instrument panel. Pull panel out several inches-you will be pulling on wires/speedo and ignition cables. Speedo is held to panel with two screws. The cable nut can be unscrewed by hand. With cable loose. Pull cable out of housing to check for lube and breaks. Lube with light weight grease, if dry or gummed up. If cable is ok. Remove and check drive gear on torque tube. Speedo repair is best left to pro as it is calibrated on special machinery.
