Its been a while since I looked, but there is a frame numberon the keft side. Problem is that it is on top of the frame behind the side motor mount in the vicinity of the gas tank cowl. If I remember correctly, you have to remove the body and the running board apron to get to the number. It's a lot of work to see the number.
Some vehicles had a number on the firewall, but my vehicle did not have one.
