Thanks,
But the car does not have a body on it and the numbers on the frame are not legible. I have tried and tried but there are only the faintest of outlines of any numbers on the frame.

The number on the motor has a star followed by A 4822I8I and another star. I am wondering if the I's actually should be interpreted as 1's and the number is 4822181. This would put the motor in the 1931 era rather than a 1928 which I was led to beleive.

This should not be a problem as I must source a body anyway, I was just trying to understand the history of the vehicle.

Thanks for any help...
