Todd, try removing the spark plugs and thread a pliable rope (3/8 - 1/2" dia.) into the cylinder (at bottom dead center)on the end where it appears to be stuck. Then bump the starter and pop the head loose. May have to move the rope to other cylinders to complete the job. I've done this twice on my '28 Roadster.
