The engine color is referred to by Model A hobbists as "Ford Green". It is basically a darker green color with black oil pan and light grey colored exhaust manifold. Go to the link http://www.modelaparts.net/raffel%20engine.htm/2787.html and you can see an engine on a test stand that is the correct color.
All other chassis parts are black. All fenders, running boards, splash apron, (baically everything below the bottom of the door) was black because of manufacturing econonomics. Body colors varied. Interior trims were lighter brown - tan cloth except on some open cars that had leather seats.
