Vapor lock 1930 ford?

For some reason we are getting an air bubble in the gas line. car will run 5 min. then stall, we open the gas line and clear it. It may run another 45 min. then happen again. It's all original engine. Drilled a little hole in the gas cap but did not help. Any thought would be greatly appreciated
