help - oil drain hole replacement?

Good Morning,

Has anybody replaced the threaded oil drain hole in the oil pan?

I got the replacement threaded oil drain hole from Bratton's and it looks like the inside lip needs to be rolled over and pressed and then brazed into place. Is this correct?

How does one get the old one out? Grind the pressed lip off?

This all started a couple of weeks ago when I tried to change the oil and couldn't get the plug out. Apparently I stripped it last time I put it back in.
