Hi. I am currently restoring a 1928 Briggs Fordor Leatherback. The production date of the body is July, 1928. I am being told that this body takes a different top wood kit than other 1928 and 1929 Leatherbacks. If anyone has any information on this, I would appreciate any comments or suggestions from someone with more expertise on the Leatherback. My email is dep2100@alltel.net. Thanks in advance and I love this site.

It's nice to see similar cars to those that we have Australia. We never received the Victoria version here nor have i ever seen a Model A fire engine before. Just for your information, Ford Australia was the first vehicle manufacturer in the world to produce the utility in 1932. You call them pickups.
