Overview - This help file will guide you through the new website features. Please feel free to print this page to use as a reference. If you have additional questions that are not mentioned here, please contact Jason at webmaster@dmafc.com for further clarification.
Login/Logout - The website uses a cookie based login system to validate your identity keep you logged in. You must enable cookies in your browser for all features to work properly. Once logged in, you can access all features described below. Forums and Classifieds are also accessed with the single website login. If you are using a public computer, please be sure to logout after each session.
Upcoming Events & Announcements - Check the website often to the latest in DMAFC happenings. These sections will be updated regularly.
Membership Roster - If you have properly logged in, you will be able to view the full DMAFC roster via the Membership page. If you are not logged in, you will see a generic message about joining the club on this page.
My Car Page - If you have properly logged in, this website portion lets you create a car page to display your Model A car. Any existing car pages will appear in the top My Model A Pages section. You can add a new car by completing the form under the Create New Model A Page section. You will select the make, model and provide any additional details. Once your car page is created, you can edit and upload multiple photos. If you have uploaded multiple photos, you must select a Main Car Photo, which will show as a thumbnail for your car in the master gallery.
My Photos - If you have properly logged in, you are able to upload photos for either car club or fashion events via the Upload New Image section. Select an existing from the drop down menu. If the event is not listed, you can Suggest New Event, but please double check that the event is not already listed. Click the Browse button the select the image file on your computer and add a description to the image file. Clicking Upload Picture will send the information to the server (Please Only Click The Button Once - It can take a little while for the photo to upload). After you have uploaded images, they appear in their respective galleries. You can then edit and delete the images.
My Quail Tale - If you have properly logged in, you will be able to download current and past editions of Quail Tale in pdf format.
Forum - A new forum has been created with multiple categorized sections. You will login through the single website login described above. Visit the forum FAQ for additional details on forum operations.
Classified Ads - The new classified system is part of the forum. You can post items for sale or wanted in this section.
Links - The page offers a variety of helpful Model A Ford links to suppliers and various industry websites. Feel free to suggest your own with the link at the top of the page.
